Cloud and "Big Data" are becoming a mature and commonly used technologies. The uses and applications vary, and are a major part of the economic recovery, bringing economics of scale to business and individuals in ways that were not possible a decade ago. In turn, these technologies bring a new set of concerns, questions, threats, and risks. This course aims to explain the benefits, as well as some of the most common threats and risks, and how to manage the uses of cloud-based computing, and the big-data that can be harnessed for growth.
