About this Course
A system review is a comprehensive process that requires, with very limited exceptions, an on-site visit by the peer reviewer, in which detailed review of all of the elements of the firm’s system of quality control, and of selected engagements will take place. This course discusses preparing for system reviews in detail, guides firms through the required documentation and offers other practical guidance to facilitate their preparation. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to: Describe the enrollment requirements for the AICPA Peer Review Program; Explain the timing requirements for system reviews; Explain roles of the various professional and regulatory bodies in the peer review process; List crucial steps in preparing for a system review; and Describe the documentation of a system review.
