This course provides an overview of recent developments within the Securities & Exchange Commission. This includes developments such as new rules and regulations adopted by the Commission as well as proposals it has put forth for additional public comment and potential future adoption. The course also discusses trends and observations. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to: Identify key characteristics of recent final rules issued by the SEC; Recognize specific aspects of recent proposals issued by the SEC; Identify key information with respect to other current activities of the SEC; and Recognize frequent areas where the SEC provides comment letters to public filers.
